For those who know me, this is another "Dilla is a heavy producer" rant.

No update from ME in the music world unfortunately. Just some good food. So if Subway is what you're munchin, dash dat in the bin for now coz it's dinner time.

Illa J - J Dilla's brother - is a rapper from detroit who's comin up in the game. His Dilla produced album "Yancey Boys" is something that just made my face frown - in a good way - as I have heard nothing but 2/3 songs and have already ordered my copy from Amazon - £6.5..... something I might add!!!

But yeah, here's a taste:

2 gigs have passed:

Yasmin @ a shwankey pub down in Latimer, West London.

Szjerdene @ Shoreditch House, East-Central London.

I had the privilege to accompany them both - Yasmin via backing vocals, and Szjerdene feat. on Let Go (Street Focus Music - Take a listen to "Let Go").

Both performances were touching - as usual I camcordededed it. So edited footage shall be uploaded (or rough, depending on if these musicians get impatient).


So, once again, in light of my good mood, imma spread some good music. Both for hiphop heads, but also for those who just love good grooves.
